Manufacturing Process Of Thermos Flask

The core part of a thermos flask is refills. The following 4 steps are required for manufacturing refills

① preparation of Preform. The glass material used in Thermos flask belongs to the commonly used sodium calcium silicate glass. The high temperature glass liquid without impurities is uniformly blown into the glass and outer preform of the 1~2mm in the metal mould (see glass).

② making bile blanks. The bottle is placed in the outer bottle, the bottle is sealed into one, and the bottom of the bottle is set up for silver-plated, pumping operation catheter, this glass structure is called the refills billet. There are 3 kinds of glass bottles, which are mainly drawn by bottom sealing method, shrink shoulder sealing method and waist sealing method. Euphrates Sealing method is to the inner bottle cutting mouth, the outer bottle cutting the bottom, the bottle from the bottom of the bottle into and with the asbestos plug pad fixed, and then the outer bottle bottom closed round, then the small tail catheter, two bottles of sealing. Shrink shoulder Sealing method is the inner bottle cutting mouth, the outer bottle cutting mouth, the inner bottle from the outer bottle upper cover and the asbestos plug pad fixed, the outer bottle shrink Harvest bottle shoulder and melt sealing two bottles, then the small tail catheter. Waist Sealing method is the inner bottle cutting mouth, the outer bottle cutting mouth and the waist cut into two segments, the bottle into the outer bottle, the waist will be fused, and then the small tail catheter.

③ silver-plated. A certain amount of silver-ammonia complex solution and the aldehyde solution as a reductant are poured into the refills slab through the small tail catheter, the silver mirror reacts, the silver ions are restored deposited on the glass surface forming a mirror silver film thin layer.

④ suction vacuum. Connecting the tail tube of the double refills slab with the silver plated layer to the vacuum system, heating to 300 ~ 400℃, prompting the glass to release all kinds of gas and residual moisture absorbed. At the same time with vacuum pump, refills sandwich space of the vacuum degree of 10-3~10-4mmHg when melting seal tail tube.
