Precautions for stewed pot-soaked Chinese herbs

"Stewed pot" refers to the thermal insulation effect of Ultra strong pot, 6 hours of temperature remained at 70 ℃ above, indeed can better release the efficacy. However, it is not the longer time to stew the better the efficacy.

However, not all Chinese herbal medicines are suitable for stewing pot. The use of stewed pot of two things: a kind of jasmine tea, such as roses, chrysanthemum, jasmine, honeysuckle, mint, and so on, with stewed pot bubble, preferably with hot water stew for 10 minutes to drink. Another is a common suitable for water-soaked Chinese herbal medicines, such as Medlar, JuJube, Dangshen, Pseudostellaria heterophylla, Panax ginseng, North Qi, Ophiopogon japonicus, Longan and so on, bubble half an hour to an hour can. But need to boil, cook Chinese medicinal herbs, such as Angelica, Shu-shu, five fingers radix fici hirtae and so on, do not recommend stewed pot to stew.

Commonly used to soak water of Chinese herbal medicines, such as medlar, Red JuJube, North Qi, American ginseng, and so on, recommended to soak half an hour to an hour. In addition, the medicine some people plan easy, like holding pot, thermos bottle to bubble Chinese medicine, think can be constant temperature, but also can prevent the bad, in fact, this idea is wrong. Effect in the water in the release of limited, the efficacy of saturation will not be released. Therefore, the bubble after half an hour to drink, and then continue to heat water, can obtain more efficacy. If bubble too long, Chinese medicine may deteriorate sour, so, once the Chinese medicine water appears sour, preferably not to drink again.
